About

About the Joel Thomas Benefit Fund

Dear Friends,

Our friend, Joel Thomas, has been diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)/Lou Gehrig Disease. He is in need of assistance to defray current & future medical costs and bills and for this reason we, his friends and loved ones have started the Joel Thomas Benefit Fund.

If Joel’s name or picture are familiar to you, it is probably because Joel is a local celebrity. He is often on TV, radio and quoted in the newspaper in many capacities, most notably as the Erie County SPCA Wildlife Administrator. He has also spent many years as bassist for notable local bands, most recently with “Gregg Juke & The Mighty No-Stars”.

How You Can Help:

Please help Joel with your support of JOEL FEST.

This event will take place at Stephen Sikora Post located at 950 Payne Avenue, North Tonawanda, NY on Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 1pm – 8pm.

We are looking for basket and Silent Auction items, as well as donations of beverages, food or paper products for the event. In return, your company name will be displayed on a poster at the event and go out in the “Gregg Juke & The Mighty No-Stars” newsletter.

Thank you in advance. Your support is very much appreciated. Should donations exceed the need, remaining funds will be donated to local charities.

If you would like more information or to arrange for donation pick-up, you may Contact Us here through the website or call Susan Fischer at 716-444-3398.

Sincerely,

Friends of Joel Thomas
